Business Structure

The Musarium will function as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a governing board of no more than 15. All proceeds from the Musarium will be funneled back into the project.

Reason for this structure

This structure will ensure that the Musarium is a community project designed with the intention of presenting to the world the region's proud heritage and preserving the region's diverse history and environment for future generations.

Association values

The Association's values are to ensure that this is a regional project that will aid in the growth of the area, unite participation of communities within the area influenced by the Allegheny River, and elicit the highest standards of commitment to these communities, as well as distant travelers.

Association objectives

It will be an opportunity for school field trips within a 2-3 hour drive and group tours interested in the historical, aquatic, horticultural and wildlife aspects of the area.

Products and services

The Musarium not only will be a major attraction geared toward eco-tourism, but also will be a facility which offers opportunities to senior and youth volunteers, and educational and research facilities for universities and corporations.
